Do you allow kids? Pets?
Frame Hotels are intimate, tranquil adult oases. While we love both children and pets, in order to respect other guests, only guests aged 16 and older are welcome and we do not allow pets on premises. Evidence of pets will result in a minimum $400 charge plus the cost of any damaged property.
Is parking guaranteed?
Parking is first come first serve in our carport so any time there’s a free space consider it yours. If you ever see all the spaces taken, parking on the street in front of the hotel is free and unrestricted. Be sure to note the signs showing residential restrictions as you go further into the neighborhood! If all else fails, there’s a public parking lot directly across the street from the hotel — access is from Gibson St.
Can I use the Tesla charger?
Our Tesla charger will reach either of the two parking spaces on the left side of the carport. With 24 hours’ notice, we can reserve a spot for you; just let us know!
Please remember the one charger is for two spaces and we ask that you unplug from your vehicle once it’s charged so other guests can access the charger.
Can you store my luggage?
For arrival before 4:00:
If you’d like to drop off your luggage before check-in time, please let us know in advance what time you’ll come by the hotel. We will arrange to have someone onsite who can lock your bags in our office and place them inside your room when it’s ready. Since your access code will not work on the front door until 4:00, please let us know what time you’re planning to come by to drop off the luggage.
At check-out:
Pack your things and leave your bags inside your room door when you check out, then text us to confirm you’ve left them and what time you’ll be returning for pick up. We can store them until 2 pm. Please note that your front door code will expire at 11:00 on your day of departure.

Are rooms cleaned daily?
We provide cleaning every 3rd day of your stay. Should you desire additional cleaning service, simply let us know!
Is there water in the common room?
Yes – there’s a Vivreau dispenser with filtered still and sparkling taps. There is a refillable water bottle in your room you can use to take water to the room whenever you need to.
Do you have Advil/Aspirin/Tylenol?
We don’t keep pain relievers on site but you can find them at the following stores. Tiny Grocer, Woody’s, aka Riverside Chevron, RiverCity Market.
Can I invite my local friends/relatives to the hotel?
We enjoy sharing Frame Treehouse with friends of guests. Please seek approval from our manager prior to inviting a friend or two over so that we are prepared. Due to the intimate nature of our property, private events require prior approval. If we are able to accommodate your event, a separate event agreement and additional fees will apply.
Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate by the hotel, or if any inappropriate behavior is brought to the attention of the hotel, the hotel reserves the right to request the guest to leave Frame Treehouse without a refund.
Do you have any smoking rooms/can I smoke or vape on the balcony/on the patio?
Frame Treehouse is a completely non-smoking property and Austin is a smoke-free city.
The city requires that you smoke/vape 15 feet away from the carport/building.
Do you have laundry facilities for guests?
We do not provide laundry services onsite however we have partnered with an on-demand, app-based laundry service called Loopie. Download the Loopie app, schedule accordingly and then leave your laundry items in a designated duffel bag outside of your room. The Loopie duffel bags are located in the Common Room in the bottom drawer next to the oven.
Do the rooms have safes?
We do not have safes in the rooms. We have one safe we can place in your room for your stay, provided you let us know in advance and the safe is not already being used by another guest.
